    X-Ray / Radiology Technician

     

    Facility: Stoughton Hospital – McFarland & Cottage Grove Urgent Care

     

    Start Date: 1/5/2026

     

    Shift: Day shift; 8- and 12-hour shifts, every 2nd weekend

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging and basic lab testing in a busy urgent care setting. This role involves producing high-quality radiographs, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform general X-ray imaging procedures following safety protocols.

    + Operate radiology equipment and ensure accurate image quality.

    + Conduct CLIA-waived lab tests (Strep, RSV, Flu, Mono, COVID, Urinalysis).

    + Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA standards.

    + Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient care.

    + Adhere to all facility and regulatory guidelines.

    Requirements

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

    + ARRT certification and WI state X-ray license required.

    + Minimum 1 year experience preferred.

    + Current CPR certification.

    + Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).

    + Strong communication and technical skills.

    Additional Details

    + Hourly Rate: $50/hr

    + OT Rate: $75/hr

    + Orientation: 1–2 shifts at Stoughton Health.
