    Overview

    Job Summary Details:

    We are seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Parking Cashier to manage ticketing, payment processing, and customer inquiries at our parking facility. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate transactions, maintain a clean work area, and provide excellent service while monitoring security.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Greet drivers and issue claim tickets or receipts

    + Calculate parking fees and process payments accurately

    + Operate cash registers or POS systems and balance daily cash drawer

    + Maintain transaction records and prepare daily reports

    + Answer customer questions regarding rates, lost tickets, and directions

    + Monitor parking facility for safety hazards and report irregularities

    + Keep cashier booth clean and organized

    + Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Previous cashier or customer-service experience preferred

    + Proficient in cash handling and basic math

    + Basic computer literacy for ticketing software and reports

    + Strong customer service and communication skills

    + Accuracy and attention to detail

    + Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

    + Security awareness and problem-solving skills

     

    Working Conditions

     

    Booth-based role with long periods of sitting; occasional walking and cleaning. Exposure to outdoor conditions, engine fumes, and noise.
