    What You'll Do

    + Perform intermediate-level maintenance and repair work on physical structures, mechanical systems, utilities, HVAC components, and facility grounds.

    + Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment and building issues to ensure safe, continuous operations.

    + Use a variety of hand and power tools to support daily maintenance needs.

    + Follow safety, regulatory, and customer service standards to provide a remarkable experience for patients, visitors, and team members.

    + Work collaboratively with Plant Engineering Services leadership and facility staff to maintain a clean, safe, and functional care environment.

    + Complete department-specific competencies and skills validations as required.

     

    What We're Looking For

    Education

    + High School Diploma or GED, required.

    Experience

    + Two years of plant operations or general maintenance experience in a healthcare facility or similar work environment, required.

    + Four years of experience in a similar environment, preferred.

    Licensure

    + Valid driver’s license, required.

    Required Skills

    + Ability to meet departmental competency and skill standards.

    + Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work well with individuals at all levels.

    + Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.

    + Commitment to teamwork and supporting a safe care environment.

    Preferred Skills

    + Broad knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

    + Familiarity with reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

    + Understanding of building, fire, and electrical codes, as well as Joint Commission Environment of Care standards.
