As a **Security Officer - Airport Government Patrol** in **Santa Ana, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors, and offer outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behaviors and provide assistance as needed.

+ Work collaboratively with staff and local authorities when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.

+ Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner as part of daily responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
