    Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST to join our ULTRASOUND team!

     

    + The Ultrasound Technologist performs complex imaging procedures while exercising professional judgment in the performance of services.

    + Demonstrates the ability to obtain high quality diagnostic images and analyze the findings.

    + Provides the radiologist or ordering provider with diagnostic evidence along with pertinent clinical information, in order for a final diagnosis to be made.

     

    Soon-to-Be Ultrasound graduates are encouraged to apply! Start date would be after ARDMS license has been posted.

    HOURS:

    + .8 FTE/64 hours every two weeks working 4pm to midnight, Monday and Friday

    + Call schedule: approximately every 8th weekend and 2-3 nights of weekday call per month, and 1 holiday per year

    + Position is eligible for sign-on bonus and shift differential

    Experience/Qualifications

    + Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

    + ARDMS

    + Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

    + Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
