Description
This role is an entry-level program management position at Amazon focused on coordinating straightforward projects while developing core program management skills.
As a Program Manager I, you'll be:
• Learning fundamental program management methodologies
• Developing skills to manage increasingly complex projects
• Building relationships across different teams and organizations
• Growing your ability to balance competing project constraints

• Primarily advises peers and immediate managers

Key job responsibilities
Project Coordination:
• Coordinate the delivery of straightforward projects and goals
• Define project requirements clearly
• Facilitate project progress across teams
• Track and communicate project status
Communication & Escalation:
• Identify and communicate project blockers effectively
• Increase visibility of project issues to stakeholders
• Learn to escalate issues appropriately through proper channels
• Advise peers and managers on project matters
Decision Making:
• Make trade-offs between time and resources
• Support tactical execution of project plans
• Learn to manage project implementation effectively

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
