Job Title: Process Technician

Job Description

As a Process Technician, you will develop new processes, assess and document both new and existing procedures, and implement changes to enhance efficiency. You will be comfortable troubleshooting PLCs and using various robotics software, such as Fanuc. Monitoring and reporting equipment issues and performing minor corrective and preventive maintenance will be part of your role. Additionally, you'll support new machinery installation and startup and interact with customers onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and document new processes and evaluate existing ones.

+ Implement changes to enhance process efficiency.

+ Troubleshoot PLCs and work with robotics software like Fanuc.

+ Monitor and report equipment and machinery issues.

+ Perform minor corrective maintenance such as replacing sensors and sprockets.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance including oiling, lubing, and greasing machinery.

+ Support the installation and startup of new machinery.

+ Interact with customers onsite as required.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience working with high-speed automated equipment or robotics.

+ Technical background or schooling in minor machinery maintenance.

+ Experience in mechatronics, preventive maintenance, and vendor management.

+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and automation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Schooling in mechatronics.

+ Experience in injection mold setup, troubleshooting, production, and blueprint reading.

Work Environment

Positions are available on various shifts: first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, second shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, and third shift from 10:00pm to 6:30am. Initial training will be on the first shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm for 2-3 months. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
