Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and machines. You will perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Your expertise with CNC controls and troubleshooting skills will be crucial in identifying and resolving potential issues.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain production equipment and machines.
+ Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on machines and equipment.
+ Familiarize and work with CNC controls.
+ Troubleshoot problems and identify potential solutions.
+ Complete work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Manager using the Maintenance Work Order Database.
+ Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and installations.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with MIG welding, blueprint reading, and flux core welding.
+ CNC maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and general maintenance techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 1 or more years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a machine shop.
+ Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
+ Capability to perform repetitive operations.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.10 - $33.40/hr.
