Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Worker** **Job Description
As a 2nd Shift Production Worker, you will be responsible for operating the sit-down forklift, performing shipping duties, and handling various physical tasks associated with equipment operation. You will follow the direction of the Area Supervisor to ensure smooth daily production activities. Additionally, you will perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment and adhere to dress code and proper PPE compliance at all times. This role requires the ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the sit-down forklift effectively.
+ Perform shipping duties during downtime of the baler flow.
+ Handle physical duties associated with the operation of equipment.
+ Follow directions from the Area Supervisor regarding daily production and activities.
+ Conduct daily preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
+ Comply with dress code and proper PPE requirements at all times.
+ Work independently without direct supervision.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production, general labor, forklift operation, general production, machine operation, and use of hand tools.
+ Knowledge of Non-Ferrous materials.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
+ Must pass a pre-employment background check.
+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled and involves working 2nd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
