Job Title: Shipping Associate** **Job Description

Join our team as a Shipping Associate, where you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on the machinery and facilities at a food production plant. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the plant operates efficiently and safely by maintaining various systems.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems through routine and preventative maintenance.

+ Repair faulty equipment and machinery, including conveyors, and perform welding and fabrication as needed.

+ Diagnose and resolve issues with machinery and plant equipment.

+ Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential problems and ensure functionality.

+ Adhere to safety protocols and environmental policies, especially concerning food safety.

+ Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Experience with industrial maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with GMPs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Covington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
