    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Planner

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure minimal equipment downtime and avoid production interruptions. You will develop and maintain both short-term and long-term maintenance schedules, coordinating with relevant teams to prioritize tasks efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions.

    + Develop, prioritize, and maintain weekly and long-term maintenance schedules in coordination with the Maintenance Manager and Production Supervisors.

    + Identify and secure required materials, tools, and manpower to complete maintenance work efficiently.

    + Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, preventive maintenance (PMs), and maintenance history.

    + Create and manage purchase order requests through Microsoft GP for necessary maintenance parts and services.

    + Maintain accurate MRO inventory and ensure the parts room is organized, stocked, and up to date.

    + Prepare and distribute maintenance performance reports, including completed work orders and PM compliance.

    + Communicate equipment issues promptly to operations and management teams.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability.

    + Ensure all activities comply with company safety policies, GMPs, and applicable food safety and regulatory standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of maintenance planning experience in a production environment (food manufacturing preferred).

    + At least 3 years of MRO inventory management experience.

    + Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Microsoft GP.

    + Knowledge of food or chemical processing environments, GMPs, and clean design principles.

    + Familiarity with food safety programs such as SQF and Kosher.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $83000.00/yr.

     

    Growing company with new equipment being installed

    Clean working environment with new automation being installed, Beard, hair nets, eye protection, and steel toes required.

    Must provide your own tools, they are updating there benefits to add in tool and boot vouchers
