Job Title: TIG Welder 1st Shift $28 Per Hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team.

Responsibilities

+ Perform TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium, to create strong and precise joints.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding codes to determine welding requirements.

+ Select and set up welding equipment, including torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to the thickness and type of metal.

+ Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and are free of defects.

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience welding with titanium.

+ Bilingual abilities.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The company is a manufacturing environment with various machines such as CNCs, punch presses, and laser machines. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and a T-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northbrook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
