*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for a *_Regional Closing Manager_*. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring mortgage loans are closed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Manage staffing and work with branch partners to improve department performance.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Manage Closing Department team, to include interviewing, hiring, and supervision of training, appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

* Motivate and lead the Closing Department to provide excellent service to the branches and title companies and to provide a high-quality finished product, consistent with company policies and procedures

* Monitor team performance to ensure quality files and identify training needs

* Monitor test case review for new employees

* Assist branch with closing related questions

* Reconcile outstanding servicing / post-closing issues

* Monitor reports to manage closing timelines

* Review and approval of Trust and Power or Attorney documentation as needed

* Ensure Regional Closing Center pipelines move at required pace

* Close Super Jumbo and Management loans as needed

* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

* Ability to travel overnight

*Supervisory Responsibilities*

* Supervises 2 or more employees

*Education and/or Experience*

* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

* Five to seven years related experience and/or training

* Committed to excellence in leadership and customer service

* Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high production environment

* Strong organization and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to adapt well to a constantly changing business environment

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

* Proficiency with MS Office and email

* Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

* The noise level is generally moderate
