    Job Title: Business Development RepresentativeJob Description

     

    The role focuses on building solid, strategic relationships with clients to establish a resilient customer connection. The aim is to develop intellectual and emotional bonds that promote partnership, trust, and confidence in business dealings.

    Responsibilities

    + Engage in client relationship building by arranging in-person appointments, traveling to meet clients, being present on job sites, and maintaining regular communication.

    + Influence product specification by developing a strong technical understanding of products, working with lighting designers and specifiers, and managing substitutions with competing products.

    + Set goals and manage portfolios by establishing annual targets, pursuing industry networks, identifying client opportunities, and reviewing portfolio performance for optimal results.

    + Monitor portfolio performance by reviewing commission reports, identifying performance issues, seeking revenue growth opportunities, and ensuring quality show delivery and execution.

    + Interface with project management to ensure high-quality job execution by delivering timely data, following up on rental orders, and supporting accounting for timely invoicing and collection.

    + Support and promote policies, procedures, and business models by adhering to product line promotion, client management policies, and administrative deadlines.

    + Work independently with regular interaction and support from VP Rentals, focusing on goals, engaging in proactive business practices, and delegating non-account representative work.

    Work Environment

    This is a remote position with flexible work schedules. The role offers uncapped earnings potential, including salary plus commission, and a bonus based on annual sales. Expense reimbursement is also provided.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Orlando, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
