Summary:
This position will provide support to the Production Manager by coordinating inventory assignments and projects related to production and finished goods inventory and help provide a smooth flow of materials throughout the process. This position will lead monthly inventory counts, assist in implementing a cycle counting process, production material flow improvements, and translate customer demands into a production schedule.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform physical inventory counts, track and report inventory accuracy, reconcile inventory issues daily and perform monthly inventory closing
+ Perform inventory monitoring to ensure product quality
+ Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions
+ Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions and fulfilling work orders to assure that they are accurate and timely
+ Track yield production throughout week, month, and year
+ Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and possible solutions
+ Track individual and group KPIs
+ Communicate issues with other Inventory Teams at LG (local and worldwide locations)
+ Facilitate team meetings (daily and weekly) to discuss production and inventory status
+ Send daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
+ Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
+ Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
+ Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience
+ 1 to 3+ years of related experience
+ Manufacturing experience preferred
+ Lean/six sigma experience preferred
