    Job Summary

    EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a **Maintenance Helper** at FDIC in **Washington, DC.** The regularly scheduled shift is 7:00am – 3:00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations.

    + Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.

    + Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.

    + Performs maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems.

    + Assist Engineers.

    + Perform snow removal.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + **Must be able to work any shift assigned.**

    + **Must be able to work weekends.**

    + **Must be able to work overtime.**

    + Must be able to work safely.

    + Must be a self-starter.

    + Must be willing to adhere to company policies.

    Physical Demands:

    + Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
