SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Kick-start your nursing career with our 10-week Nurse Externship in Behavioral Health Inpatient Acute Care! From **May 18 – July 25, 2026** , you’ll work alongside experienced RNs, build hands-on clinical skills, and gain valuable exposure to behavioral health nursing. All externs must attend **New Employee Orientation May 18–20, 2026** , where you’ll connect with your cohort and prepare for a rewarding summer of learning, growth, and real-world patient care.

Responsible to a Registered Nurse for performing basic bedside care and selected nursing procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

+ Nursing student of an accredited Nursing Program and one clinical rotation, or a Graduate Nurse without Boards required.

+ PA Act 31 Child Abuse Training Certificate
