We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious **Equipment Operator** to join the team at **our Hutto Transfer Station, TX** . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge _plus_ , but willing to train the right candidate.

_The position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week._

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed

+ Operating Dozers, Excavators, Compactors, along with trucks and smaller Equipment

+ Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

+ Customer Service and must be able to communicate with your team

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

+ The work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Areas are clean, ventilated, and well lit.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

+ Experience driving forklift, dozer, or articulated dump truck _preferred_

+ Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment used at facility

+ Must become proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

+ Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily

+ Able to work outside in all weather conditions

+ Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly
