Responsibilities
+ Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for the licensed practitioners' use
+ Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education
+ Select and operate magnetic resonance system and related equipment
+ Maintain professionalism, compassion, and a demeanor consistent with medical ethics in all patient and team interactions.
+ Recognize essential conditions for successful completion of procedure
+ Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the exam
+ Collaborate effectively with colleagues, providers, and support staff to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent patient outcomes
+ Support clinic operations and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
+ The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:
+ Minimum of graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
+ Must unrestricted NYS licensure and ARRT certification
+ Must have ARRT MRI certification or be willing to complete MRI certification within 1 year of hire or transfer date
+ Current with continuing education requirements to maintain ARRT certification
+ Additional education in sectional human anatomy a plus
+ Experience in medical imaging
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills
Other information:
+ Ability to travel to other OrthoNY locations if needed depending on staffing and needs. Reliable transportation is essential
