    At Riley Power, a subsidiary of Babcock Power, we are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and collaborative individual OEM Assembler to join the team at our Tyler, Texas Service Center.

     

    Riley Power's Service Centers is a leading supplier of quality parts and services and offer over 100 years of rebuild experience. We also supply high quality parts and perform expert reconditioning, core to pulverizer rebuilds or upgrades on any boiler or similar equipment, regardless of original manufacturer, returning it to original OEM specifications for optimum performance and longevity. We

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Bond components using a semi-automated induction heating process

    + Descale and Clean components using bench grinder and wire wheel

    + Operate various machines including surface grinders, radial arm drills, and abrasive blasting cabinet.

    + Operation of Overhead Cranes and Forklifts

    + Perform all day-to-day production tasks, reaction to production demands as directed.

    + Help maintain the service center through 5S initiatives and good housekeeping practices.

    + Team player who continues to improve as an individual and helps the team to achieve successful goal attainment.

    + Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines

    Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    + Pass Background check and drug screening

    + Basic knowledge of handheld power tools

    + Experience with precision measuring tools is a plus (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

    + Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and stand at workstation for prolonged periods of time

    + Good organization skills

    + Highly motivated, self-disciplined, and dependable

    + Ability to work overtime as needed
