Job Title: Shop Mechanic

Responsibilities

+ Work from blueprints to disassemble pumps, valves, and machines.

+ Repair or replace broken or misused parts of each piece.

+ Use blueprints and Bill of Materials (BOM) to reassemble each machine.

+ Perform light manual machining on a manual lathe.

+ Operate a forklift to move materials around the shop.

+ Perform pickups and drop-offs of materials.

+ Complete general labor and cleaning duties as assigned.

+ Take ownership of each project from start to finish, including minimal light electrical work.

Essential Skills

+ At least 6 months of hands-on mechanical work experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret factory set blueprints and drawings.

+ Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

+ Basic welding skills.
