    Description

    Are you a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where accuracy and operational insight truly matter? Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Carlsbad, is seeking a Senior Accountant who enjoys taking ownership of complex reconciliations, month-end deliverables, and cross-functional financial support. This role is ideal for someone who can navigate high-volume transactions, work closely with operations teams, and bring clarity to financial data as the business continues to scale. You will serve as a key resource to leadership—answering questions, supporting audits, and ensuring the company’s books remain clean, timely, and GAAP-compliant.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead month-end close including accruals, journal entries, and variance analyses

    + Reconcile inventory, COGS, and manufacturing-related accounts

    + Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation reporting

    + Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packets

    + Support budgets, forecasts, and mid-year re-projection work

    + Assist with yearly audits and help strengthen internal controls

    + Collaborate with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    + 4–7 years accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)

    + Strong GAAP knowledge; advanced Excel

    + ERP experience required (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle preferred)

    + Strong communication and cross-departmental partnership skills
