Responsibilities
+ Oversee procurement, purchasing, and supply chain coordination.
+ Track project financials and ensure adherence to budgets.
+ Coordinate logistics and vendor communication for timely material delivery.
+ Assist with RFIs, submittals, and schedule tracking using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
+ Interpret shop drawings and support construction sequencing.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
+ Provide technical documentation and reporting support to project managers and field teams.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
+ 2–5 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
+ Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Excel, and scheduling tools (P6 or MS Project).
+ Strong understanding of construction processes, including steel, heavy equipment, and general sequencing.
+ Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two or more years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.
+ Experience working with a major mechanical subcontractor, primarily working with HVAC systems.
+ Familiar with financial oversight on projects including budgeting, estimating, approving change orders, and cost tracking.
+ Experience in mechanical, change order, project coordination, commercial construction, electrical, and data center.

Work Environment
The role involves working at various project sites in the Round Rock, Texas area. Enjoy being part of a fast-growing team with a large mechanical contractor in the Austin area. The position offers 40 hours of PTO and 6 major holidays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
