    Job Title: MBSE Systems Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented MBSE Systems Engineer to develop system modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions across our organization. This role involves performing engineering analysis and providing results to inform strategic decisions for operations. The Engineer will focus on the design, development, and integration of M&S products for the program, tackling a wide variety of challenges to develop solutions for all aspects of the current business.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop system modeling and simulation solutions throughout the organization.

    + Perform engineering analysis to provide results that inform strategic decisions.

    + Design, develop, and integrate M&S products for the program.

    + Work on a variety of challenges to develop solutions for all business aspects.

    + Implement a model-based culture leveraging digital enterprise environment infrastructure.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.

    + 5 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering within a government consulting environment.

    + Direct experience in Systems Engineering and SysML/UML modeling using tools like Cameo.

    + Ability to work independently and navigate system modeling tools at an expert level.

    + Experience with developing Use Cases, Activity Models, and other SysML models.

    + Proven experience in delivering large-scale DoD systems engineering projects.

    + In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or a related discipline.

    + Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis tools.

    + Experience utilizing model data support to create a digital thread across other engineering disciplines.

    + Knowledge or experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons Systems.

    + INCOSE CSEP Certification.

    + OCSMP Certification.

    + Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

    The work environment involves working with advanced modeling tools and technologies, primarily in a digital enterprise infrastructure. The position requires navigating complex systems with minimal supervision, and collaborating with a team of professionals to achieve strategic objectives.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Rockville, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
