Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. This role offers an opportunity to oversee critical accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a solid background in financial operations to support the organization’s goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial reports.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded and reconciled.

• Oversee audits of financial statements and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.

• Provide oversight for accounting activities within a family office structure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and systems.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles.

• Train and mentor entry-level accounting staff to enhance team performance.

• Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including leadership positions.

• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger operations.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and compliance requirements.

• Experience with account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Familiarity with family office accounting practices is preferred.

• Background in public accounting is highly desirable.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
