Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in payment processing and expense reporting. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounts payable and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Conduct payment runs and ensure timely approvals for all payments.

• Resolve discrepancies and address payment issues promptly.

• Manage expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Code invoices and cash transactions accurately within financial systems.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure all records are balanced.

• Utilize tools such as QuickBooks and bill.com for financial management.

• Monitor and document bank and cash transactions.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable procedures.

• Maintain organized records for audits and financial reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and bill.com for financial operations.

• Strong understanding of coding invoices and account reconciliation.

• Experience with payment processing and check runs.

• Ability to manage bank and cash transactions effectively.

• Familiarity with expense reporting and compliance standards.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for resolving discrepancies and coordinating approvals.
