SOL Engineering Services LLC has an immediate need for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our fast growing, dynamic team. The Senior FP&A Analyst builds financial models, forecasts and budgets to guide business strategy while predicting future results and potential risks.

What We Require for this Role:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
+ At least 5 years of experience in accounting & finance.
+ Proficiency in modeling and valuation techniques.
+ Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), GAAP and accounting methods (accrual and cash basis method).
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot table, v-look up, etc.).
+ Experience with ERP systems (Jamis ERP preferred).
+ Must be highly collaborative and communicative - someone that wants to be part of a team and not work in a SILO!
Responsibilities:
+ Lead or assist in the annual budgeting process and create detailed financial forecasts (e.g., rolling forecasts) for revenue, expenses, profit and cash flow across different business units.
+ Build and maintain complex financial models to project future performance and assess potential outcomes of various scenarios ("what-if" analysis).
+ Evaluate the company's financial performance by comparing actual results against planned budgets and forecasts, investigating discrepancies, and providing detailed explanations and commentary to management.
+ Lead project implementations, communicating and coordinating properly with all internal and external stakeholders.
+ Prepare clear, concise management reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for executives.
+ Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and increase productivity by streamlining existing processes and developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
+ Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to understand performance drivers and align financial plans.
