Reports To:Design Manager
Job Purpose:To collaborate with the client through the planning process, develop unique and innovative remodeling solutions, and prepare clear and accurate documentation for Production.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
+ Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and investment levels
+ Present and sell Design and Construction Agreements
+ Develop creative design concepts and detailed work scopes that align with client goals
+ Document existing site conditions accurately
+ Collaborate with Estimators, Engineers, Architects, Mosby Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure project success
+ Provide superior customer service and build long-term client relationships
+ Participate in tradeshows, seminars, webinars, and other company events as requested
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Interior Design or Architecture
+ 5+ years of experience in Residential Design preferred
+ Minimum of 3 years working one on one with clients to determine their design needs, budget, material selections and executing sales contracts
+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus)
+ Excellent organization, communication and time management skills
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to successfully manage several projects at a time
+ Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner
+ Prior working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
+ Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments around the St. Louis & Southern Illinois area
+ Ability to work nights and weekends
+ Physically able to stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.
