    Job Description

    A client in the Nashville area is looking for a Logistics Coordinator, who will ensure safe and efficient handling of all shipping and receiving activities while managing docks at two separate locations. This role includes validating incoming shipments, coordinating freight and parcel deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee truck loading operations, organize material storage, and support continuous material flow throughout the facility. Heavy-duty forklift experience and a strong safety record are essential. The position requires collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and carriers, timely communication on shipment status, and occasional overtime with some Saturday work.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years' logistics experience

     

    - Proficient in Microsoft Office.

     

    - Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as required.

     

    - Ability to obtain a Hi-Lo (Forklift) and Overhead Crane license while employed at JR. - forklift operation experience required

     

    - High school diploma, or equivalent certification required. OSHA certifications
