Capability Lead Brand and Consumer Insights
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Capability Lead Brand and Consumer Insights, are to:
+ **Strategic Leadership:** Develop and execute comprehensive insights strategies for megabrands, ensuring alignment with business priorities and market opportunities.
+ **Governance & Stewardship:** Establish and enforce brand insights frameworks and practices to ensure data integrity, security and compliance. Develop robust frameworks to guide brand development and expansion.
+ **Consumer Insights & Analysis:** Oversee the implementation of consumer insights processes, including brand health tracking and competitor analysis, to ensure a deep understanding of brand strengths, weaknesses and market positioning.
+ **Brand Development:** Define clear brand guardrails to protect core brand values while identifying opportunities for growth and expansion. Conduct research to develop brand communication strategies and visual assets.
+ **Market Analytics & Innovation:** Identify strategic opportunities and support innovation through market analytics, trends and foresight work. Understand cultural differences across regions to enable scalable solutions with local adaptation.
+ **System Integration & Testing:** Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and accuracy of insights systems and tools.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:** Serve as the primary liaison between global and regional teams, ensuring alignment of insights initiatives with enterprise outcomes.
+ **External Relationships:** Form and manage external relationships with research partners and vendors, delivering efficient and impactful insights solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert in consumer insights and brand strategy.
+ **Emerging Trends:** Stay ahead of emerging consumer trends and technologies by continuously scanning the external landscape and proactively evaluating new tools and techniques.
+ **Career & Talent Development** Enable employees to succeed and progress through career coaching, developmental feedback, and talent development cycles, including performance evaluations, compensation adjustments, and promotions.
+ **Vision & Capability Building** Shape the vision for skill and career development within the Professional Home and set capability development priorities to build future-ready talent pools in collaboration with Work Leads.
+ **Inclusive & Collaborative Environment** Foster a diverse, inclusive culture where members share expertise, support each other, and continuously upskill through regular development dialogues.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Demonstrated ability to guide, support, and coach employees in their professional and career development, helping them craft self-authored career paths and set development priorities.
+ Proven ability to work closely with Work Leads, Professional Home Leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive enterprise-wide talent and capability development.
+ Exceptional communication skills to provide clear guidance, feedback, and foster strong relationships with employees and senior executives.
+ Dedication to building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive environment within the Professional Home.
+ Deep expertise in consumer insights, brand strategy, analytics, and the ability to develop and implement brand insights frameworks and consumer analysis.
+ Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to translate business strategy into actionable insights and drive transformation with agility.
+ Proficiency in insights tools and technologies, and knowledge of global and emerging consumer trends and technologies.
+ High level of DSO and VACC proficiency, with an enterprise-wide, agile approach to leadership and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 10+ years in consumer insights, brand strategy, or analytics, with at least 5 years leading and developing high-performing teams.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $176320.00 - 264480.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
