Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Project Manager** through **January 5, 2026** at **11:59 p.m.** (Central Time).
This position has overall responsibility for successful development, execution, and start-up of small to large size capital projects at Chevron BD manufacturing facilities. Specific responsibilities include development of project justification, scope, schedule, budget, design assurance, equipment procurement, and managing contractors performing the work in order to deliver capital projects safely, on time, and on budget.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
+ Develop, lead, and implement capital projects (scope, schedule, budget)
+ Coordinate project teams and review meetings (design, construction, safety reviews)
+ Manage equipment specification, procurement, and contractor agreements
+ Ensure compliance with QA/QC, OSHA PSM, and safety standards
+ Oversee on-site activities, contractor management, and progress monitoring
+ Provide project estimation and technical evaluations
+ Maintain project files, document control, and closeout procedures
+ Review installations and ensure adherence to technical drawings
+ Organize meetings, assign action items, and report progress to stakeholders
+ Prepare capital requests and monthly project reports
Required Qualifications:
+ Education 4-year bachelor’s degree - Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred.
+ Quantified experience 3+ years project management in a process-related industry, preferably in biodiesel, edible oils, petroleum, petrochemical, ethanol, chemical manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Education / Certifications – PMP Certification
+ Quantified experience 5+ years project management in biodiesel, edible oils, petroleum, petrochemical, ethanol, or chemical manufacturing.
Relocation Options:
