    Lead the program delivery for Exterior & Structural Systems for major forward model programs. The ExSSE Programs Manager strategically drives the engineering organization, ensuring and coordinating functional delivery of program targets and milestones.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    Strategic Engineering Program Leadership: Facilitate the alignment of priorities within the functional department and between program teams, coordinating actions with functional teams, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure successful achievement of program Milestones.

     

    Program Delivery & Process Excellence: Drive the delivery of high-quality, cost, weight and efficiency metrics in accordance with program timelines, championing functional process excellence, and ensuring adherence to established targets.

     

    Performance Management & Target Achievement: Manage processes, metrics, and deliverables to consistently meet program targets and timelines, tracking progress, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring overall program success.

     

    You'll have...

    Technical Background & Knowledge:

    BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred).

     

    Automotive Knowledge - Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle components and system functions.

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

     

    Working knowledge and experience with Ford Corporate procedures and processes: JIRA, WERS, Global 8D, GPDS, Change Control, FEDE Workbench, AIMS, Integrator, E2KS, Part ordering.

    Leadership & Soft Skills:

    Communication & Presentation Skills: High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with exceptional presentation skills for effective communication in high-level management forums, diverse teams, and stakeholder interactions.

     

    Demonstrated strong leadership performance, combining expertise in team building, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and effective decision-making.

     

    Strong organizational and execution skills, demonstrated through effective planning, delegation, and prioritization of tasks to ensure timely delivery of results and achievement of team goals.

     

    Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment, proactively address conflicts, and build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

    Preferred experience in Program Management, Hardware/Software Integration, and/or Functional Systems.
