    In this position...

     

    A Quality Supervisor that works with IPTSE (Internal Combustion Engines Propulsion Thermal Systems Engineering) to ensure a robust achievement of engineering deliverables for our forward model vehicle programs. You will work with teams to develop a precise test plan that supports our reliability objectives, and then through reviews and audits validate that the evidence and results support a robust sign off. This position also works closely with program quality and functional teams on setting warranty targets for forward model programs.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Interface with Climate/Cooling/mounts system teams, to ensure robust designs by validating the test evidence in FEDE meets the associated requirement and/or design rule.

    + Perform change point analysis (CPA) with the functional teams to ensure that any changes to usage, noise factors, or boundaries are adequately represented in the application test plan

    + Leverage problem solving skills to define the specific, detection and systemic root causes associated with DV and field failures.

    + Work with the functional teams to ensure we have robust prevent recurrence actions identified on PAC/PRA issues with solid migration plans for affected programs.

    + Work with Climate/Cooling/mounts teams, to migrate their Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to the model based system’s engineering platform.

    + Verify program requirements are applicable to the target program

    + Work with Climate/Cooling/mounts System tech specialist to identify if the program design verification plan meets the program reliability targets using the enhanced Reliability Check List.

    + Work with Program quality team and functional quality teams to help develop targets for all future programs.

     

    You'll have...

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

    + 5+ years of experience in cooling/climate design or test

    + FMA knowledge (DFMEA, P-Diagram, Quality History, Boundary Diagram, Interface Analysis, and Functional Analysis)

    + Strong problem-solving skills leveraging the “three-legged five-why” methodology

    + Experience in reliability methods

    + Knowledge of Microsoft office suite of tools

    This position is a leadership salary grade 6.
