_What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health_
Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.
Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials, components, products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
_What is expected of you and others at this level_
+ Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
+ May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
+ Works on complex projects of large scope
+ Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
+ Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
+ Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects
+ Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
+ May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
_Accountabilities_
+ Operates Analytical Equipment
+ Perform Analyst tests, interprets results and documents findings in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
+ Creates testing protocol SOPs and method qualification protocols.
+ Serves as the site technical expert for microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, testing of water, sterility testing, Bioburden testing, investigational testing and any other microbiological testing or projects as needed.
+ Assists in and/or conduct laboratory investigations of discrepancies to resolve problems and works with Management to ensure corrective action or preventive actions are implemented in a timely manner.
+ Remains aware of developments in microbiology by reading current technical literature and attending technical meetings.
+ Makes recommendations to management to improve the performance of the laboratories
_Qualifications_
+ 4-8 years of experience, preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
**Anticipated salary range:** $80,900-$115,500
