    Responsibilities for an** **Accounts Receivable Clerk** **include but are not limited to:

    + Research, analyze, and resolve unpaid, denied, or past-due claims and collection discrepancies

    + Communicate internally with Billing, Cash Applications, and Client Management teams to resolve payment issues

    + Follow up on outstanding and denied claims within required timelines (every 30 days; high-balance accounts biweekly)

    + Collect on past-due claims and determine root causes of unpaid balances

    + Monitor and report on account aging (90+ days) and high-dollar payer balances ($10,000+)

    + Meet annual cash collection goals at least 75% of the time

    + Ensure proper coding and documentation for payer projects and unresolved accounts

    + Address unresolved items weekly to move funds to invoices, unapplied cash, or refunds

    + Maintain accurate records and submit required reports monthly

    Candidates for** **Accounts Receivable Clerk** **must meet the following requirements to be considered:

    + High School Diploma or GED (or higher)

    + Experience with accounts receivable, collections, or healthcare billing preferred

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment

    + Proficiency with Excel preferred; strong general computer skills required

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + **Shift:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
