    Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician who will be responsible for performing simple production assembly tasks. This role involves riveting and countersinking, reading and follow blueprints and schematics, and performing quality checks of finished materials.

    Responsibilities

    + **Assembly:** Assemble components and subassemblies for complex products, working from technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.

    + **Tool Usage:** Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment (e.g., calibration tools, soldering irons, presses).

    + **Testing & Calibration:** Conduct functional tests, perform quality checks, and calibrate equipment to ensure proper operation.

    + **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during assembly or on finished products.

    + **Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance and repairs on assembly equipment and systems.

    + **Quality Control:** Inspect parts, verify specifications, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in hand tools and power tools.

    + Experience with mechanical assembly, riveting, countersinking, and working with adhesives.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment offers two shift options: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday or 3:25 p.m. - 1:55 a.m. Monday-Thursday. This role is within a supportive and inclusive team culture, focusing on providing opportunities for growth and development.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
