    Job Title: Mechanical Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our accessory shop team in Grapevine, Texas. This role focuses on performing mechanical work on generators and related equipment, ensuring reliability, safety, and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical work on generators and related equipment.

    + Ensure reliability, safety, and optimal performance of equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

    + Use hand and power tools for mechanical repair.

    + Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

    + Perform mechanical assembly and electronic assembly tasks.

    + Conduct generator maintenance and wiring tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 2+ years of mechanical experience, ideally with generators or heavy equipment.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools used in mechanical repair.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in shop conditions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Technical certification preferred.

    + Experience with soldering, blueprint reading, and machining.

    Work Environment

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grapevine, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
