Job Title: Stick Welder

Pay: $25-$28

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Stick Welders with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for welding pressure vessels and heat exchanger components, adhering to specifications and standards set by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Experience with Sub Arc or TIG welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

+ Refer to blueprints and weld procedures to determine welding requirements.

+ Determine the type of material to be welded and select appropriate materials and techniques.

+ Make designated welds to specification on heat exchanger components.

+ Grind and cap welds as indicated.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in stick welding with 2-3 years of experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with welding pressure vessels and heat exchanger components.

+ Knowledge of American Society of Mechanical Engineers welding criteria.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in TIG and Sub Arc welding is advantageous.

+ Proficiency in stainless steel fitting and beveling.

+ Ability to perform appearance tests and back gouge tests.

Work Environment

You will work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing shop, dealing with inside environmental conditions such as heat and loud noise. The regular schedule is 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime from 4:00pm-2:30am if behind on work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
