    A leading environmental and construction company in **Sanford, FL** is looking for **Technicians** to join the team and assist with essential construction and remediation tasks. This role involves working outdoors, operating equipment, and maintaining a strong safety mindset.

     

    The company is hiring immediately, so Aerotek will provide a **rapid interview process** to get you started as soon as possible!

    Responsibilities:

    + Dig trenches and spot the front-end loader.

    + Install visqueen liners on new construction job sites and within company facilities.

    + Conduct clean-up efforts on-site.

    + Operate light and heavy equipment, including blasting equipment, front-end loaders, and excavators.

    Essential Skills:

    + Experience in general labor, construction, and mechanical tasks.

    + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

    + Safety consciousness and adherence to safety procedures.

    + Front-end loader operation skills.

    + Equipment operation skills.

    Experience Level:

    Entry to experienced level

    Location:

    Sanford, FL

    Pay / Shift:

    $20–$25/hr depending on experience

     

    Schedule:** Monday–Friday, **7:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM

     

    Plenty of overtime available!

    Work Environment

     

    Technicians must be comfortable working in various elements, including hot, wet, or foul-smelling conditions. Personal protective equipment, such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, safety vests, and hard hats, must be worn at all times. The role demands working Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duties, from 7 am to 5 pm, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Technicians will work in a crew of 2-3 members and must be clean-shaven as respirator use may be required.

    This is a Contract position based out of Sanford, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr.
