    Concrete Carpentry

    **Location:** Carey, OH

    **Join our team and help build the backbone of modern energy infrastructure!** We are looking for skilled professionals to support substation construction projects, focusing on structural concrete formwork and equipment installation. This role offers hands-on experience with critical infrastructure and opportunities for growth in a safety-first environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Structural Concrete Formwork

    + Install below-grade concrete structures for substations.

    + **Formwork Assembly:** Build and install formwork systems for structural concrete.

    + **Rebar Installation:** Place and secure reinforcing steel per engineering specifications.

    + **PVC Conduit Installation:** Install conduit for electrical and grounding systems.

    + **Anchor & Hardware Installation:** Position and secure anchors and embedded hardware.

    + **Concrete Placement & Finishing:** Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces.

    + Verify layout and measurements for structural components.

    Substation Structure Installation

    + **Materials Management:** Organize and handle equipment and materials for installation.

    + **Equipment Spotting:** Assist in positioning and aligning equipment during placement.

    + **Equipment Fastening:** Secure equipment to concrete anchor points per design.

    + Perform general labor tasks to support project progress under customer direction.

    + Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for formwork and installation tasks.

    Pay & Shift

    + **Concrete Carpenters:** $22 – $34 per hour

    + **Laborers:** $22 – $24 per hour

    + **Shift:** 1st Shift (Day Shift)

    Required Skills

    + Concrete work and finishing

    + General construction and carpentry

    + Rebar installation

    + Use of hand and power tools

    + Substation construction experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior experience building substations or similar heavy civil projects.

    + Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

    Experience Level

    Intermediate (2–4 years in concrete or substation construction preferred)

    This is a Contract position based out of Carey, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
