    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. The role involves preparing work by studying woodwork instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, as well as gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. The assembler will position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements, assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, and operate within standard operations procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare work by studying woodwork instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.

    + Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials for assembly.

    + Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.

    + Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.

    + Operate within standard operations procedures (SOPs).

    + Verify specifications by measuring completed components.

    + Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and following manufacturer's instructions.

    + Troubleshoot malfunctions and call for repairs as needed.

    + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    + Turn off and lock equipment when not in use.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly.

    + Ability to read and understand diagrams and blueprints.

    + Knowledge of safety procedures during assembly tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical assembly experience.

    + Experience with tape measures.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in true job shop and wood working conditions characterized by loud noise and non-climate controlled settings. The position offers a regular weekday schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnton, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
