Purpose of Role
The Senior Manager, Construction & Facilities is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects and facilities management initiatives across Under Armour’s North America retail
environments. This role oversees multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to completion; ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and are aligned with Under Armour’s brand and quality standards. The Sr. Manager works closely with internal cross functional teams (Real Estate, Store Design and Development, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Sales, etc.) and external stakeholders like Architects, 3rd Party Construction Managers and UA vendors.
Your Impact
Construction Project Management
• Lead end-to-end management of new store builds, remodels, relocations, expansions, and special projects across North America’s DTC portfolio.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with Under Armour’s brand and operational standards through UA identified project management tools and software.
• Communicate project status, risks, and solutions clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate and ensure seamless coordination with internal teams (Real Estate, Store Design & Development, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing) and external partners to execute projects that meet business objectives and adhere to Under Armour’s Global Store Design Concepts and standards.
• Review construction documents for accuracy and ensure owner supplied materials are ordered and delivered per project schedule.
• Oversee third party construction vendors and partners and lead weekly coordination calls.
• Monitor GC weekly reports for compliance and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage budgets and maintain accurate historical records to improve forecasting and future budget accuracy.
• Support annual planning and budgeting for future projects.
• Negotiate contracts and optimize vendor performance for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Support RFP process in partnership with procurement.
• Lead collaborative project hindsight meetings and implementation of any process changes based on these learnings.
• Develop and refine tools, processes, and vendor relationships to support long-term regional success.
• Contribute to other regional initiatives as needed.
Facilities Management
• Oversee facilities teammates responsible for maintenance programs and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies and manage emergency repairs with speed and efficiency.
Leadership
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports and influence cross-functional partners. Drive operational excellence and ensure alignment with Under Armour’s strategic priorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in construction project management and facilities operations, ideally in retail or multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction process and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CAD or BIM a plus.
• Some travel required.

Work Schedule: This role follows a Hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office
Relocation: No Relocation provided
Base Compensation
$140,782.- $193,575
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
