    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler specializing in the assembly of flight simulators. This role involves building subassemblies and installations, ensuring high-quality standards and safety procedures are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.

    + Operate hand tools, electrical tools, and equipment such as molding, sanding/cutting acrylic, measuring tools, and light machinery.

    + Maintain inventory of products in workstations.

    + Perform quality work checks, identify product defects, and record identified defects.

    + Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

    + Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

    + Operate fork trucks to load/unload material and finished products.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work area.

    + Climb up to 6 feet (25% of the time).

    + Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

    + Work in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day.

    + Work 100% onsite.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Knowledge of and experience using basic hand tools.

    + Ability to use drills and drill bits.

    + Mechanical skills.

    + Ability to climb up to 6 feet (25% of the time).

    + Ability to get along with a team.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Selected candidate will need steel-toed boots, which are not provided.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a first shift role with hours typically from 6 AM to 3:00 PM. The work environment involves using various technologies and equipment, with a focus on safety standards. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, which are required but not provided.

    This is a Contract position based out of Dulles, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
