    Job Title: Material Handler Forklift

    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled Material Handler Forklift operator who will be responsible for handling materials safely and efficiently in a large aerospace manufacturing environment. The candidate must have experience using computers for inventory management and be comfortable with documentation and communication.

    Responsibilities

    + Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.

    + Kit and move products safely using a sit-down forklift.

    + Use a computer to validate products and update work orders.

    + Engage in palletizing, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks.

    + Load and unload trucks as part of material handling duties.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient computer skills for inventory management.

    + Effective communication skills with the ability to read and write in English.

    + Prior material handling experience, preferably 2 years.

    + Competence in operating a sit-down forklift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in packaging, picking, and packing boxes.

    + Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

    This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.16 - $21.66/hr.
