Aerotek is hiring General Laborer / Industrial Installer -$21/hr- Weekly Pay!!

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Laborers & Installers to join our team. These role involve removing tape from floors, cleaning, moving and staging inventory, as well as installing metal fences on the robotics floor to enhance safety procedures. Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively, and familiar with using tools such as drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, rulers, hammers, and torque wrenches. The work environment is loud and fast-paced.

Responsibilities

+ Remove tape from floors and perform cleaning tasks.

+ Move and stage inventory efficiently.

+ Install metal fences on robotics floors to improve safety.

+ Use hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.

+ Conduct heavy lifting and repetitive labor tasks.

+ Build and assemble metal frames and gating on robotics floor.

+ Drill into concrete and perform mechanical tasks.

+ Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a safety-conscious approach.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Mechanical inclination and tool proficiency.

+ Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 50 lbs.

+ Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.

+ Punctuality and reliability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in general construction, carpentry, or industrial repair.

+ Familiarity with mechanical assembly and installation.

+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

+ Experience with quality assurance and inventory management.

+ MUST HAVE THEIR IDS EVERY DAY ONSITE.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment that is loud and can be chaotic. Shifts are 10 hours long, with the first shift from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and the second shift from 5:00 pm to 3:00 am. Availability is required from Monday to Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays. Enjoy a one-hour lunch with only 30 minutes deducted.

This is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
