    Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join a dynamic site work and civil construction company in the southern Massachusetts South Shore area. The ideal candidate will have experience with large projects, particularly in water and sewer systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Review project plans and ensure successful completion with a dedicated crew of operators and laborers.

    + Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, forklifts, backhoes, and surface grinders.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal condition.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, forklifts, and backhoes.

    + Ability to interpret and implement construction blueprints.

    + 5+ years of experience in site development.

    + OSHA 10 certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in water/sewer systems is preferred.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
