    Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as assemblers for high-end office furniture. The role involves using various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products. Proficiency in operating table saws, band saws, miter saws, and reading blueprints is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform the first assembly of high-end office furniture.

    + Utilize hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products.

    + Operate table saws, band saws, and miter saws.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Inspect and ensure quality of assembled products.

    + Engage in painting and spray gun operations as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction.

    + Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.

    + Proficiency in using carpentry and cabinetry tools.

    + Skilled in woodworking and custom cabinetry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with machine operation is preferred but not required.

    + Familiarity with finish carpentry, trim carpentry, and industrial painting.

    Work Environment

    Work in a newly built Milling department equipped with excellent ventilation and lighting. Benefit from new equipment and tools and an organized manufacturing process. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection (both provided). Employees can wear jeans or shorts during the summer. The position operates on the 1st shift from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
