This is a great way to gain experience working within a healthcare setting!

As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is a safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.

Position Type: On-Call

Wage Range: $15 - $16.50 /hour depending on experience

Bus Driver Responsibilities:

+ Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.

+ Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.

+ Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.

+ Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.

+ Complete additional tasks as requested.

Bus Driver Qualifications:

+ Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.

+ Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

+ Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.

+ Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
