What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.

+ Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials, assisting with visitor management, and maintaining visitor logs as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating with building management and first responders when appropriate.

+ Support Allied Universal in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries or direct individuals as appropriate.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and any concerns to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Provide one of the following: a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or at least 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
