    Application Systems Developer

     

    _TS/SCI with Polygraph Required_

     

    _Salary Range: $127,000 - $151,800 per year_

     

    At Ops Tech Alliance we’re looking for an **Application Systems Developer** to design, build, and maintain modern applications that directly support mission objectives. In this role, you’ll work in secure cloud and hybrid environments, creating solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

     

    You’ll collaborate with architects, analysts, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-performing application systems that keep pace with evolving mission needs.     _THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD._

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain web-based and cloud-enabled application systems using modern programming languages and frameworks

    + Collaborate with system architects and analysts to translate functional requirements into technical specifications

    + Integrate front-end and back-end systems and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security

    + Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and testing

    + Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices

    + Document software designs, interfaces, and support procedures

    Required Qualifications

    + TS/SCI with Polygraph

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience

    + Minimum of 3 years of application development experience using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or SQL

    + Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies

    + Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., GitLab, JIRA)

    Desired Qualifications

    + Experience developing secure applications in a DoD or IC environment

    + Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design

    + Certifications such as AWS Developer Associate or Azure Developer Associate
